Nephenee Rose

Nephenee Rose (b. 1991, Toronto, Ontario) is a professional arranger and editor of musical scores, and composer, specializing in music for visual media. She obtained her Honours B. Mus at Wilfrid Laurier, and since then has been involved in projects in Canada, the US, and the UK. Notable collaborations include such partners as the Richmond Hill Philharmonic Orchestra, and Stephanie Martin of the York University Faculty of Music.

Nephenee’s music seeks to be evocative without overwhelming. To challenge, but not outpace. To be versatile, yet maintain identity. Most of all, she seeks to write music that, while rich enough to stand on its own merits, channels all of its energy into clarifying the vision it supports, rather than detract.
