ELLINGTON & MONK | The Buhr Quartet & Friends, with words by Ellington, Monk & Toni Morrison
 
The Buhr Quartet performs the music of 20th-century master composers Duke Ellington and Thelonious Monk, garnished with some spoken word texts by the composers and also by Nobel Prize-winner Toni Morrison.

SPIRIT REEL | The musical worlds of Jim Hiscott (composer and button accordionist), featuring the Spirit Reel Band
 
We'll hear some of Jim Hiscott's compositions, and we'll visit some of the traditional music that has influenced him.
