This concert is a reaction to the imperial events that have infected our lives in the first half of the 21st century. Glenn Buhr's new band, The DreamPlay Rebels, perform a concert of subversive blues poems with music spanning more than 70 years, from the anti-fascist songs from the 40's to the anti-fascist songs of the present day.

*The Blues and the Abstract Truth is also the title of the seminal 1961 jazz album by Oliver Nelson.
